Social Bookmarking is a way to store and share bookmarks of web pages on the internet. There are many sites in which your articles can be categorized, tagged, voted and commented on.

The term “social bookmarking” was coined by de.licio.us and soon many sites began to develop. These sites are a great way for a person who is blogging this or blogging that to gain exposure and readership. Often, these sites drive web traffic to the blog where they originated. When you sign up, you will make a profile. Here is my Technorati Profile for example. Then you can vote for articles you like.
