Flying Through Airport Security?
I was in an airport within the states recently and noticed that if you are a member of certain airlines “reward programs” you can go through the fast lane of Federal security. Is this right?
There has always been a security line for the badged airport employees, pilots and stewardesses, but how about first class customers? That’s right, lowly, coach peasants; you have to wait in line barefoot while the elite pass by in the same line as the airline and airport staff.
I am not insinuating the security is lessened, only questioning what this deal is all about. All passengers, regardless of seating or reward status, should wait like everybody else. The government should have nothing to do with airline rewards, perks and special treatment. I think it is wrong. How about you?
